Bluefin Living has Stephen Ford as its principal Director. Stephen recognises the breath of diversity needed within his team to produce wide ranging solutions for both local authorities and the private sector use of retirement homes. In order to satisfy that requirement, he has drawn together a team of collective experience and expertise as priority consultants to Bluefin Living. Stephen is a member The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

Continuous practise and personal development is very important to Stephen, so much so he has recently embarked upon a flying course to obtain his PPL .Supported by his partner Olga they are together bringing up four children.

2002 – 2005 Commercial Finance Broker (Corporate Loan Consultants)

Entry into Corporate Financial Services as an independent consultant.

2005 – 2010 Director West Coast Finance

Specialist advisory position dealing mainly with a team of independent Commercial Finance Brokers structuring complexed funding for Land and commercial property.

2010 – 2012 Privately Funded Research Period

Having identified the future viability of some brown-field, and unusual derelict building sites into affordable housing ventures with previous clients I started to put together some ideas and actions which have ultimately led into the successful business model I have today




Graham has a horticultural, arboriculture, financial and environmental background and is passionate about getting a balance between them all when working on projects. Currently working in the leisure sector Graham is pushing manufacturers, park operators and architects to design lodges and parks that are more environmentally friendly.

1993-1999 Independent Financial Advisor

Worked as an IFA in the UK before setting up first brokerage in Tokyo Japan, where he worked with the Ex-pat banking community.

2000-2003 Director of PBA Capital – investment brokerage in Gibraltar

Structured investments comprising of multi manager hedge funds and promoting them around the world. Raised over $62m

2003 – 2007 Owner of Ground4orce – landscape and natural swimming pool company in Spain

Semi-retired, he went back to his original trade and set up and ran a small boutique landscape company, specialising in working with the ex-pat community in Marbella area. Went from 3 employees to 43 within 6 months.

2008-2012 Environmental sector

Worked for Aardvark EM, PowerQube and Carbon Guerrilla measuring and managing company’s energy usage. Discovered a passion for green energy and utilising waste.

2013 – Present Director of Kingwood and Century 21 Lodge Parks – Leisure sector

Working in the holiday lodge market, initially selling lodges for a holiday park group, but now running his own companies, where he works with investors, park operators, holiday booking companies and land owners to find the best solutions to their requirements, whether that is income, capital security or CSR.




Following a secondary modern education Barry joined the British Army and obtained further higher education during service. After 9 years of service he left the Army and took the opportunity to emigrate to Australia and spent the next five years running a successful business of his own in Australia until the family decided to return to UK.

Spending the next ten years within the brewing industry promoting beers wine & spirits for different brewers In the UK Barry moved into the financial services industry with one of the most successful financial companies in the UK. On becoming one of the company’s top sales people he was invited to join the J. Rothschild Partnership to establish an association with them, where he continued to build a successful private practice. During this time Barry specialised in Shared Equity Housing through a London firm of Architects in conjunction with a large London Borough Council. Barry has amassed a great deal of knowledge of Shared Equity Housing and is a believer in this type of housing project that may enhance the lives of individuals who otherwise may not get the chance of home ownership.

In 2006 he sold his practice implementing the exit strategy in his business plan. Following on from this he has established a successful business with his friend Peter Gamble with whom he had worked closely with for several years within the Rothschild partnership selling residential and investment property in several overseas locations. Barry has had and, continues to have, a role in voluntary and statutory organisations. He served a total of 20 years within the judicial system mainly as a magistrate and later with a youth justice programme that helps young people stop their offending. Barry also helps charitable organisations and local businesses to become better able to achieve their objectives by introducing sound business practice to them. Barry has homes in England, Spain and Cape Verde. When he does find time away from his commercial and other interests, he enjoys playing golf and relaxing at home, either in England or abroad.




Peter entered the advertising industry at the age of 21, founding his own Advertising and Marketing Agency. He ran the Agency successfully for 20 years growing it to an annual turnover of £12.5 million (€18,500,000).

The first client was English & Continental Homes, developing residential property in the UK and Ireland, for which Peter devised and controlled all aspects of the marketing and sales process.

During the following years Clients included McLean Homes; Westbury Homes, for which a complete new corporate identity and market positioning was developed; Crest Homes; and Taylor Woodrow Homes in the UK and Gibraltar. For all of these Clients, Peter developed and controlled the advertising and marketing strategy.

Other clients included SAAB Cars; Holiday Inns Worldwide; Hyatt Hotels; Copthorne Hotels; WH Smith/Doubleday and The Thorn Group.

Following the sale of the Agency, Peter joined the J. Rothschild Partnership as an Investment Consultant. It was here that Peter and Barry met, and decided to form their overseas property company, ‘Your Home in the Sun’.




Tracy has managed Projects ranging from £500,000 – £72 million from Land acquisition, construction through to the sale of the development. These Projects have included both new build and refurbishment in the residential, Commercial and educational sectors.

Tracy is a Chartered Project Manager Surveyor and a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, The Chartered Institute of Builders and The Association of Project Managers. Tracy has worked on various complicated and challenging educational Projects. Tracy has also acted as Project Manager and Contract Administrator on numerous of large and small scare projects.

Tracy’s responsibilities include full management of the Project including applications for planning approval, cost consultancy, monitoring works in progress, monitoring against programme and budget, signing off completed works and agreeing final accounts and all other matters relating to contract administration.

Tracy has a vast experience in construction management and have had Responsibility for the delivery of Projects from inception to completion including design, contract administration and legal issues associated with the works including Party Wall Awards, Planning Applications and Building Control approval and a very strong background in estates management and surveying, in particular stock condition surveys, domestic energy performance certificates, home buyers reports and all forms of valuation and has been involved in partnering contracts including the NEC 3, Engineering and Construction Contract, and the PPC 2000 Partnering Contract for contract values in excess of £60m.
